Academic Results

Expanding What Works SLL regions doubled student enrollment from 2024 to 2025. A major driver of this was an effort by anchor partner Boys & Girls Clubs of the Northern Indiana Corridor (BGCNIC) to work with Boys & Girls Clubs across the state to offer the program. BGC SLL students achieved a 23 percentage point learning gain in ELA and a 22 percentage point learning gain in math. BGCNIC utilized the facility, staffing, and programmatic resources of fifteen clubs across the state to double their program’s enrollment, while maintaining strong academic results. BGC SLLs also partnered with school districts, public charter schools, private schools, and community organizations in the regions they serve.
